The New Architecture Of Tech: Seat Pricing, Orbital Rings & Superstar Employees

The New Architecture Of Tech: Seat Pricing, Orbital Rings & Superstar Employees - E722

"We need to think about what the job is, what outcome we want, and how to achieve that outcome using AI to the maximum. Then, we redesign the job towards that instead of just filling traditional headcount. Ultimately, if you're not efficient, the market is going to punish you." - Ori Sasson - Jeremy Au

"Current SaaS pricing lacks accountability. We are entering an era where software actually produces outcomes. If we're asking people to automate real jobs, we as executives should have the courage to reflect that in our pricing and charge per outcome." - Andres Klaric - Jeremy Au

"When you look at the Philippines and Indonesia, there are 10,000 to 15,000 islands. Today, telcos are building undersea cables to every island, which is very expensive. With our orbital laser network, every single island in Southeast Asia can have internet as fast as Singapore at a fraction of the cost." - Rohit Jha - Jeremy Au

Software has been sold by the seat for twenty years. Nobody has ever had to promise it worked.

Three conversations from the BRAVE archive, on what changes when software starts getting paid for outcomes instead of access, and what has to be rebuilt underneath it.

Andres Klaric spent a decade in private equity watching SaaS scale before co-founding Fuse, an enterprise lending platform. His argument: current pricing has no accountability in it, and the profit pool should sit in the outcome rather than the operating system. Rohit Jha co-founded Transcelestial in Singapore to move data over laser links. When the profitable telco side of the business was going well and his own board told him to drop space, he and his co-founder quietly moved capital into it anyway. Ori Sasson, Founder of S2T.AI, on the barbell splitting the tech workforce, and why employers now have to design jobs around outcomes rather than hours.
